The first day of this workshop is open to members of the public. We will show participants how to use the Symbiota floristics tools available in the MAM portal. The second day is dedicated to MAM member institutions. This will be an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions for additional features in Symbiota, as well as to be given an introduction to new features currently in development. At least one PI or supervisor from each digitizing institution in the MAM Project is expected to attend.

MAM Training Workshop

This workshop is designed to 1) introduce MAM participants to one another and outline project standards, and 2) get any institution up and running with digitization. Hence, we will spend most of our time covering the basics of the digitization workflow from A to Z. It will be a hands-on workshop; PowerPoint presentations will alternate with plenty of opportunities to try it all out yourself. Please bring a laptop, or arrange to share with someone who is bringing a laptop.
